Every local church has its unique brand or DNA as it expresses itself within a particular cultural context. The look, feel, and focus will vary from one local church to the next. We are passionate about reaching people who have never been to church or who haven’t been in a long time. We believe that the truth of the Gospel should be the only thing that softens and hardens hearts. Therefore our goal is to create experiences that are so engaging and life-giving that people want to come back and bring somebody with them!
Pastor Trip Healey is the founder and lead pastor of Ridge Church located in Wetumpka, Alabama. Before launching Ridge Church in 2013, he had been in student ministry in Elmore County for 11 years. Pastor Trip holds a Masters of Arts degree in World Missions and Evangelism from Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife Rebecca live in Wetumpka with their six children, Knox, Mary Fran, Leo, Showy, Ben, and Aaron.
The Ridge Kids experience on Sundays is one your kids won’t want to miss. Ridge Kids offers a place where children from birth to 5th grade can discover and develop a passion for Jesus. Through music, teaching, and a variety of fun activities, children are exposed to God’s Word and challenged to grow in their relationship with God.
Our heart for our Ridge Students is that they will fall in love with the local church. Students from 6th to 12th grade can connect in small groups, serve on our teams, give of their resources, and invite friends and family.
God didn’t create us to live in isolation, He called us to live in community. Ridge Groups are designed to build relationships and grow faith. Groups are located throughout the area and meet at various times and days. Find family, join a group today.
We believe the local church should be an outpouring of extravagant generosity. We’ve formed relationships with local, national, and global partners that expand the impact our church is able to make. We strive to meet the physical, emotional, and financial needs of our community, making His name greater.
