A Message From Pastor Trip Healey

A devastating tornado passed through downtown Wetumpka on Saturday, January 19. There were no deaths or serious injuries, but churches, homes, and businesses caught in its path were destroyed.

The people and city of Wetumpka have responded with thousands of volunteers pouring into the city looking for a way to help. Ridge Church, along with Church of the Highlands and others, have partnered with the American Red Cross, EMA and city officials to lead the way supporting the overwhelming number of volunteers and crews. Significant work has already been done, but we know that the days and weeks ahead will require more volunteers and more assistance.

Keeping these teams of volunteers fed and cared for is our number one priority. Many restaurants and organizations have donated toward this effort, but we know this will begin to slow. Our goal is to keep food and supplies well stocked to continue supporting the relief and cleanup effort.

If you’re looking for a way to be involved, but can’t be physically present, we are encouraging everyone to participate through your prayers and your gifts. Feel free to give by using the form on this page. Please know that we take this responsibility seriously and that 100% of everything given will go directly to relief efforts.

Thanks in advance. This is all for Jesus!
